• Water Quality Services

AES provides a variety of water quality services to address the growing concern of surface water quality and the impacts of point and non-point source pollution. These include the following services:

Limnological assessments involve monitoring water quality at various locations in a reservoir, stream or other surface water body. Lake monitoring includes discrete sampling for commonly measured limnological parameters such as dissolved oxygen, temperature, pH, turbidity, clarity, total and dissolved nutrients, chlorophyll, and solids.

Stream assessments involve monitoring flow and water quality parameters at various locations of reference and impacted streams and rivers. Stream assessments may also be performed in support of non-point source studies or other reseach endeavors. AES uses automatic sampling equipment for flow-weighted sample collection.
