• Aquatic Vegetation Management

When aquatic growth is left uncontrolled, algae and aquatic weeds can interfere with drainage, fishing and other water-related activities. Excessive growth in lakes can lower dissolved oxygen, impede water flow, harm fish and other wildlife and even disrupt boat traffic. Warm weather, non-native weed species and high nutrient levels in most lakes add to the problem. Without scheduled removal, trash and debris collect in coves and present an unsightly appearance.

Algae Control Our staff specializes in keeping your lake, pond or waterway in excellent condition year round. We provide effective lake maintenance without disturbing fish, wildlife or desirable plant species. Water testing is performed during each visit to your site.

Aquatic Vegetation Control AES's water management programs solve existing problems and help to prevent future unsightly weed and algae growth. By using top quality materials, specialized equipment and innovative techniques, we provide an effective cure for waterway ills without affecting fish, wildlife or desirable weed species. Our annual water management program can cure existing problems (usually within one to three months) and prevent unhealthy and unsightly weed and algae growth in the future.

Herbicides applied by AES are US EPA registered and approved for aquatic applications. Chemical selection and dose are determined for each pond and lake following a visual inspection based on the type and amount of vegetation present, water depth, water use, fish and wildlife concerns. AES's staff are certified Commercial Pesticide Applicators.
